Position Available: Farm Laborer

Job Description :

Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Dig and plant seeds, or transplant seedlings by hand. Harvest fruits by hand. Identify plants, pests, weeds, and fungus to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers. Manage crop progress. Load agricultural products. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Apply pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers to crops and record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, etc.. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches.

Language requirements: Bilingual – read write English and Spanish. Must be able to work with basic math for measuring of chemical (pesticides, fungicides etc.).

Must be authorized to work.

Position Type: Seasonal

Experience: Minimum 3 years experience.

Hours: 30 Hours per week. 6AM-3PM

Pay: 9.00 Hour
